I have some exciting news to share today. I’ve started a new blog – Pressure Cooking Today!
Today’s pressure cookers aren’t the scary, about to explode pressure cookers you may remember. I love my electric pressure cooker because it’s like a souped up crockpot. With just a few minor changes you can make your favorite crockpot meal in the pressure cooker in a fraction of the time, and it will automatically switch to warm when it’s done cooking, so you don’t have to babysit it.
I fell in love with my 6 quart Cuisinart electric pressure cooker but didn’t feel like Barbara Bakes was the right place to showcase all the pressure cooker recipes I’ve been dreaming up, so I decided to start Pressure Cooking Today. (Of course I’ll still be posting delicious new recipes on Barbara Bakes as well.)
I’ve been designing the new site over the summer and now that fall is here it seemed like the perfect time to officially launch Pressure Cooking Today. And what better way to launch it than with a giveaway.
