In reply to Nawlinsdemon. Correct - the tomatoes are not drained, you'll add the juice in the can as well. Sounds like a delicious way to change it up.

Hi Barbara I’m looking forward to this. It’s always dangerous to assume but it looks like you added the juice in the can too. Is that correct? Just got my Ace and this will be first recipe in it. I’m going to use fresh Creole tomatoes peeled and seeded (I live in New Orleans and they’re in season now). Will let you know how it turns out and thanks.

Restaurant Quality!!!
I made this recipe tonight (with a few tweaks) and it was incredible.
I am not a fan of Parmesan Cheese so I skipped it all together. Also, I did not have half and half but I did have heavy cream so I used that. OOOOHHHH EM GEEE!! Delish!!

I also ran it through a chinois and it made it smooth and silky. I cannot wait for seconds tomorrow.

In reply to Lee Traub. Hi Lee - I have never had that problem. Did your blender bog down and sound like the motor was struggling? Did you put the liquids in the bottom?
