Hi Barbara! I love this combination and fell in love with it in Newport when my husband I visited La Maison for breakfast earlier this year, I have made it several times but couldn’t get the hazelnuts quite right. I wanted to have this recipe on my pinterest so I searched Google and found your story! I will use roasted hazelnuts thanks to you! We are going to Newport again for Thanksgiving and looking forward to “Bananas La Masion” and their yummy Maple doughnuts!
