I think that is super advice and I agree about the Sara Lee pound cake. I like their cakes, too. I always have lots of frozen berries, too. This sounds yummy!

Berries are just showing up on my market and I am so in the mood! No freezer anything for me but I have been thinking of making a poundcake or genoise just for such a perfect summer dessert! Yours looks scrumptious!

O yum! Your parfaits are gorgeous! There’s no way a sarah lee pound cake would last long enough in my freezer to wait around for a special occasion… 🙂 I grew up eating that cake, its so good!

These parfaits are beautiful and look delicious! Such a great idea for a summery dessert. I also love the idea of keeping a frozen pound cake and other dessert items on hand for unexpected guests. I’ll have to pick one up!

What a beautiful parfait, Barb, and you’d never know it was so simple by looking at it. I’m excited because I have everything on hand to make it right now! BUT, will have to wait until tomorrow 🙂
