Hi Suzanne - it's really pretty easy to make the fun lines. I just melt a little white chocolate or make a little bit of thick white icing. The put the icing in a pastry bag or a Ziploc bag and snip off the corner and pipe some lines across the top. Then while the icing is still wet, you take a toothpick and drag the lines in opposite directions every other row.

O.k., so this month's challenge made my wish I'd stuck with the Daring Bakers (the macaron month made me throw in the towel) as these are one of my favorite desserts...I'm a sucker for coconut, custard, chocolate...Thanks for the nudge and reminder. I'm going to tackle these soon!

How delicious, they look great. I've got to try these. I've heard alot about them, and they are full of yummy ingredients, so whats not to like.
I am thinking of joining the daring bakers (maybe next month) just got to psych myself up for it cause i'm a bit intimidated. Still, i like the idea of doing things with other people (like with the mac tweets) and baking things that i wouldnt normally bake.
Great job on these.
*kisses* HH
