In reply to Martha. Yes, they'd need to thaw before baking. I generally find it easy to fully bake the shells and just freeze and thaw those.

Are cream puffs like mini popovers? The baking ingredients seem the same to me.
Besides chicken salad, what other healthy savory fillings could I make that a 5 year old would enjoy at breakfast?

In reply to darlene. Hi Darlene - You can make them weeks in advance if you freeze them and they freeze very well. Otherwise, I would just make the a day ahead.
