THICK AND CHEWY 

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

If you like soft, chewy cookies, these thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies are for you. Brown sugar and higher oven temperature is the secret to thick, soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies every time.

 INGREDIENTS 

Flour Baking Soda Salt Butter  Eggs Vanilla Semisweet Chocolate Chips Pecans (Optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.  Using an electric mixer, beat the brown sugar and butter until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. 

Drop dough balls onto cookie sheets 2 inches apart.  Bake. Let cool for 5 minutes before moving cookies to baking rack. 

INSTRUCTIONS

The best temperature to bake cookies for the perfect thick and chewy cookie is 400°.
