CHICKEN  TORTELLINI  SOUP

This is the best easy chicken tortellini soup recipe to serve your family or a crowd. A fast 30-minute, one-pot dinner for a chilly night that starts with pre-cooked chicken and frozen tortellini.

 INGREDIENTS

– 8 cups chicken stock or broth – 1 teaspoon onion powder – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 tablespoon dried parsley – 2 cups cooked shredded chicken – ½ c. shredded carrots – 16 oz package frozen cheese tortellini I used tri colored – ½ cup frozen peas – salt and pepper to taste – grated Parmesan cheese for serving

In a large pot, heat stock, onion powder, garlic powder, and parsley until boiling.

Add chicken and shredded carrots.

When carrots are tender add tortellini. Cook tortellini according to time of package instructions.

Add frozen peas. When peas are warm, add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with grated cheese on top.
