Instructions
For the Chocolate Chip Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, packed brown sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add the egg and mix until well combined.
Stir in the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda until a dough forms.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips. Set the dough aside.
For the Brownie Batter:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 13x9 inch pan with baking spray.
In a 2-quart saucepan, heat the unsweetened chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Stir in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until the batter is smooth.
