  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs room temperature
  • cup orange soda
  • orange food coloring optional
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Line cupcake pan with paper liners.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
